About Us

Founded in early 1999, iFocus have evolved from a small engineering house to a full product development and engineering services company. The two founders, Mr Ng Choon Tiong and Mr Kuo Wen Siang brought along with them many years of industrial experience in PC Multimedia, Data Communication, Embedded System Architecture and Product Manufacturing. The company spotted the emerging opportunities in providing digital video solutions for the CCTV security industries in the early days. The first product was the digital video recorder (DVR) which provides digital solution for tapeless video recording. Today, iFocus digital video recorders can be found in many countries all over the world, including in USA, Europe, South America and Asia Pacific region.

The skill and knowledge learnt from the digital video recorder enable iFocus to embark on providing engineering services and turn-key solutions to the transport industry in 2001. By working closely with our customers such as Silicomp Asia and Motorola Electronics, iFocus have achieved some important milestones. These include delivery of the Trainborne Equipment for the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) in India, and the development of the Taiwan Rail Authority (TRA) and Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation (THSRC) Trainborne Equipment.
